For MgM – Menschen gegen Minen (People Against Landmines), we developed a website that powerfully conveys their humanitarian mission of demining in Southern Africa. The site presents their life-saving projects in regions such as Kuando Kubango and Malanje, where mine clearance is paired with community support initiatives like water supply, COVID relief, and aid for single mothers.
The design goes beyond simple information sharing. It explains the complex processes of mine clearance — from manual and mechanical work to the use of dog detection units — while also addressing the global scope of the landmine problem. At the same time, it highlights MgM’s decades of experience, their transparency, and their ongoing results in the field.
By integrating news, media coverage, and a detailed archive of their work, the website allows donors, partners, and the public to follow MgM’s journey and impact. Clear storytelling and strong visuals ensure that the scale of the problem, as well as the hope provided by MgM’s efforts, are both immediately understood.
